The quality of the clinical supervisory relationship is an important predictor of successful practice for the supervisee. Supervisors must be equipped with the wisdom, knowledge and skills to facilitate the design and implementation of a successful training process. This workshop is designed to help the new supervisor develop those skills and techniques necessary for a successful supervisory relationship. Key topics to be covered are theoretical foundations, clinical perspectives of intervention, roles and tasks of the supervisor, models of supervision and much more. This workshop has been approved by LABSWE for 6.5 Clinical/Supervision hours of continuing education and is acceptable for the Board Approved Clinical Supervisor-BACS certification. Pre-registration deadline is 5/18/18. Limited to 75 participants.
