2032: Understanding and Effectively Addressing Behavior i
2032: April 17, 2020; 8:30 am - 11:45 am. Registration begins at 8:15 am. (Covington). Understanding and Effectively Addressing Behavior in the School Environment. Presented by Jessica Harper, LCSW, ACE Educator, TBRI Practitioner. Covington Behavioral Health, 201 Greenbrier Blvd., Covington, LA 70433 . This seminar will include a review of the current, most problematic behaviors in the school setting including the hypothesized causes of the behavior and the trends we are seeing both state and nationwide. Following that, participants will learn about assessing behavior in the school setting, school level interventions, data tracking and the importance of building relationships to minimize behavior. 3.0 General hours. Pre-registration deadline is 4/10/20. Limited to 40 participants.
