2001: Grief and Anger: A Road to Recovery
2001: Feb 6, 2020; 8:30 am - 11:45 am. Registration begins at 8:15 am. (Lafayette) Grief and Anger: A Road to Recovery. Presented by Kay Clemons, LCSW-BACS. Vermillion Conference Center, 326 Gauthier Rd., Lafayette, LA 70501. This workshop is designed to achieve a better understanding of the effect of anger as it relates to the grief process. Understanding of the grief process from multiple grief theorists will be joined with the theories of anger and anger management processes. Joining these theories is intended to produce a positive outcome when guiding clients/patients through the grief process. A deeper understanding of the factors that attribute to roadblocks to recovery will be discussed. Participation is encouraged for this workshop but not mandatory. 3.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 1/31/20. Limited to 30 participants
