1967: Suicide Safety Planning Intervention & Means Restrict
1967: June 20, 2019; 8:45 am - 12:00 pm. Registration begins at 8:15 am. (Lafayette). Suicide Safety Planning Intervention & Means Restriction. Presented by Allyson Pardue, LCSW-BACS. Vermillion Conference Center, 326 Gauthier Rd., Lafayette, LA 70501. This seminar will focus on guiding clinicians through a therapeutic technique to help clients who may be at risk for suicide, by learning the process of creating a suicide safety plan. Clinicians will also learn about the importance of restricting means for those who might be at risk for suicide. A suicide safety plan is a written list of coping strategies and supports that clients can use during or after a suicidal crisis. 3.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 6/13/19. Limited to 45 participants.
