1907: Feb 1, 2019; 8:45 am - 12:00 pm. Registration begins at 8:15 am. (New Orleans).   All About Ethics.  Presented by Edgar P. Guedry, LCSW-BACS, ACSW, CHPCA, ACHP-SW. Louisiana Department of Children & Family Services, Benson Tower, 1450 Poydras Street, 7th Floor, New Orleans, LA 70112 .   This workshop will provide various case scenarios on issues that social workers may encounter in practice settings and discuss ways to address dilemmas.  Specific sanctions from the board will be discussed along with how to handle an ethical dilemma step by step.  Ample time will be given for participants to address other ethics concerns and issues.  Real life sanctions will be discussed.  3.0 Ethical hours.  Pre-registration deadline is 1/25/19.  Limited to 40 participants.
