With more troops coming home from combat duty, you need to be better equipped in helping them and their families cope with the transition back into civilian life. When you leave this workshop, you will be better equipped in assessing mental health issues and finding solutions that best fit each service member. During this seminar, you will explore the effects of PTSD on military personnel, war veterans, and their families, as well as highlight some of the differences between veterans with PTSD and other patients with these symptoms. The workshop will use a variety of learning approaches, including group discussions, experiential exercises, and lectures. 6.0 Clinical hours. Pre-registration deadline is 6/8/18.
