We are in the midst of an extraordinary and exciting paradigm shift. Advances in the fields of neuroscience, traumatic stress, and attachment reveal that it is essential for mental health professionals to have a practical understanding of brain development and knowledge of how our earliest and most significant relationships have served to create and shape our brain/body systems. This presentation seeks to provide participants with user friendly models for understanding brain development and creative ways to apply neurodevelopmental concepts into everyday practice. 6.0 Clinical hours.
