During the annual conference, the NASW-LA will honor the following individuals for their individual

contributions to the profession and their communities.

   Dorothy Schenthal Leadership Award:     James Donald "Don:" Smith, GSW, ACSW

Social Worker of the Year:     Peggy Arceneaux, MSW, GSW

Citizen of the Year:     Dr. Howard Osofsky, M.D., Ph.D.

Lifetime Achievement:     Kay Birdwell Asher, LCSW

Public Official of the Year:     Lillian Priest

MSW Student of the Year:     Kreesha Tollette Bennett
